New Lady Captain at Letterkenny Golf Club
On the 27th Nov 2104, I had the great honour and privilege to become Lady Captain of Letterkenny Golf and Social Club. As a Letterkenny native, I am immensely proud to lead the Ladies Club for the 2015 golfing season.and to represent them in Donegal and further afield.
There are 120 ladies in the club and we are encouraging new ladies to join and enjoy the game of golf. It is a great social game and we all take time to enjoy the 19 Hole where many lasting lasting friendships are formed.
The club is not only about golf as we have many social events where ladies enjoy cards, quizzes, dancing and trips away.
Golf is for everyone even if you think you are not sporty, the fresh air and landscaped fairways attracts many ladies to the game. It is also instant companionship as you always play with someone, hence the social side of golf.
